Well, Princess Erin, as she likes to be called has decided that it is finally TIME to be a big girl (however, she doesn't really know that, and is going through a phase where she likes to be called a baby, a "pequeno baby") and is going potty pretty much on her own, in the BIG POTTY! For the last three days, she has had only two accidents - we aren't counting nights yet, but even those diapers are less wet -- one right after naptime, on her way to the bathroom, and one tonight, trying to share the same toilet with her friend, Derek. I'm so shocked that I can't believe it! Although she is still a "private pooper", she now simply goes into the bathroom by herself, closes the door, does her thing, and comes running out triumphantly shouting out her success (and waiting for a help with the wiping phase). She's so pleased with herself and we are ecstatic ... maybe the last box of diapers really was the last box! How exciting!
I'm sure those of you reading are much impressed ... those of you who have ever changed Erin's diaper are probably relieved! Have a blessed day, and smile at someone you a. have never met, b. you normally wouldn't smile at, or c. BOTH!
