Even though it was short, it was good to see you and I know Jon enjoyed connecting a little. He said to me he thought he'd try to make seeing you guys happen a little more often than every 3.5 years. I thought it was funny, partially because he seemed serious! :) I love you, and thanks for your excitement for us!

I just wanted to congratulate you on your engagement! How exciting! I understand the whole "Bridezilla" mask that the world would like us to wear. (Basically being obsessed with what we look like on the outside on our wedding day.) I'm glad that you are keeping your head on straight and looking past the wedding day to the marriage. That is what requires love, work, LOTS of patience, understanding, being flexible, not always getting our way, did I mention PATIENCE?? Above all it is remembering the covenant...that Promise to Holy God that we will stick through thick and thin with the person we choose to marry...no matter what. I am proud of the woman you have become and excited to see what God has in store for your future marriage, job (exciting!), and your life!
