I just got word from my mom tonight that my grandma went into the hospital and has congestive heart failure. She is fine, but will stay there for 3-5 days. She has a weak heart and weak immune system. My grandpa, who had heart valve replacement surgery just before Thanksgiving, is doing well, but he needs to stay calm and not get worked up to prevent backwards progress in his recovery. Please pray for their peace as they both work to heal, and for my mom, who is the rock in the storm for them. Thanks!

I didn't want to create a password & account, so I'm "anonymous!" :) This is Fern! :) What is the world is "blogging" anyway? I'm so out of touch of the cyberworld...I only know a thousand different ways of picking your nose. (Thanks 2nd graders!) Nice to get an update on life! I loved the pic's of Erin that you sent a while back. They crack me up! I hope she has moved on from her obsession of the dryer!
Well, not much news here. Mike started back at ESU today for class & his internship. This is his final semester of his Masters program...we hope! I'm still teaching and wishing for snow days! I love to play in the snow, build snowmen, snowball fights, and Steg-o-Taurus! That photo of your car was stinkin' hilarious!!!
Well, I must go as I'm at school! Hope you have a wonderful day & week! Give that cutie daughter of yours a squeeze for me and one for Professor Dave, too!

Hey, Sarah! I am so glad that you joined. It was just last night that we spoke and you said you didn't really want to make your own blog. I am sure glad that you did though. I would have sent you an e-mail if I would have checked out David's blog before you had already made a blog. I spent almost the whole day with my sister-in-law and niece yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I am sorry that I didn't get to stay and hang out at Phat Tuesday. I look forward to that every week for the social time. I am glad that we have become friends and I like hanging out with you. I was totally serious about taking you and Lisa out some night. But, I am going to have to do that before you and David decide to have any more kids. So, anyway, I am very happy that you have joined us all in this fun little blogging world.
