Well, I guess it was bound to happen someday ... I was just hoping it would be later ... much later!
We ran into Dillon's for a quick potty break, and after coming out of a really nasty bathroom, Erin spies two guys and a girl coming toward us. They are probably 18-22 years old, and having a nice time chatting together. Well, Erin, who earlier in the evening had requested a ball out of a "gumball machine" but we didn't have time to get one, sees an opportunity to find some common ground with this small bunch of people, and bursts out, arms flapping wildly (still drying her hands from the handwashing after touching every imaginable surface in the nasty bathroom), "Do you boys have any balls?"
Wow, what do you even say to follow that? I would have to say that 1. my daughter is very friendly and 2. I hope she learns some tact in the future. However, when it comes to building relationships and starting conversations, she's one of a kind! Have a great day and enjoy!

On Target!
Just a quick note of celebration! I am officially on-target for my first Mary Kay career car, the 2005 Pontiac Vibe!!! I may be driving FREE here in another two months! How exciting!
Thanks to my team of fabulous women, Kelli, Debbie, Linda, Shannon, and Tina! Also, thanks to my husband for his support and new job title (business manager) in my business! Thanks to my mom-in-law, Lisa, and Grace for watching Erin while I go to meetings and facials, and giving me a few minutes of peace! Thanks to Director, Jill, the Driving Divas, and my sister Michelle for your inspiration, guidance, and love!

Open House in Eudora
Hello! I wanted to let everyone know I will be doing a Mary Kay open house and facial clinic on Saturday afternoon, May 7th at our home in Eudora. The facials will be featuring the wonderful NEW TimeWise Microdermabrasion product, as well as the other fabulous TimeWise products, or Velocity, if you prefer!
Microdermabrasion facials will be starting at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00, but other shopping can happen anytime during the afternoon!
I have great gifts for MOMs (as Mother's Day IS May 8th!), and some great sales in honor of our mothers! I will also have gift certificates available!
Guys, you are welcome too, for the facials or just shopping time (Do you have something for your mom to pamper and appreciate her on her special day?!).
If you'd prefer to stay home, but would like to give your mom something special, go to my personal website and choose something nice there, or just email me from there and I'll answer any questions you might have or help you choose something she'll LOVE!

Take a right on 12th St, pass a trailer park, a yellowish-green house, and we're the first gray duplex (on the right side of the street). Email me with any questions!
To clarify, even if you do not live in the Lawrence/Kansas City area, I am happy to mail products to you ... I mail them all over the US, from Washington to Oklahoma, Kansas to North Carolina and Maryland. I pick up all shipping costs, so you only pay for the product you order! There are no regions or boundaries in Mary Kay, and I like to serve customers where they are! Princess Erin Potties
Well, Princess Erin, as she likes to be called has decided that it is finally TIME to be a big girl (however, she doesn't really know that, and is going through a phase where she likes to be called a baby, a "pequeno baby") and is going potty pretty much on her own, in the BIG POTTY! For the last three days, she has had only two accidents - we aren't counting nights yet, but even those diapers are less wet -- one right after naptime, on her way to the bathroom, and one tonight, trying to share the same toilet with her friend, Derek. I'm so shocked that I can't believe it! Although she is still a "private pooper", she now simply goes into the bathroom by herself, closes the door, does her thing, and comes running out triumphantly shouting out her success (and waiting for a help with the wiping phase). She's so pleased with herself and we are ecstatic ... maybe the last box of diapers really was the last box! How exciting!
I'm sure those of you reading are much impressed ... those of you who have ever changed Erin's diaper are probably relieved! Have a blessed day, and smile at someone you a. have never met, b. you normally wouldn't smile at, or c. BOTH!

Hooray!
Great news ... I have a brand new Mary Kay consultant on my team!
Debbie is my first "local" consultant, as all of my other team members are in Emporia. I'm so excited to get to know her better, and help her grow her business! I am also excited, because when she orders, I become a Red Jacket! Which means I am officially in leadership in Mary Kay! I am excited, and actually hoping to have two more new consultants on my team before the end of the month. God has laid some ladies on my heart, and I am praying they will be receptive to His will, not mine.
I am claiming financial freedom for my family, and with David's help, we will be driving free one of these days! Can't wait to share with you my great news of the new consultants who will be on my team this month! If anyone out there is interested in learning how you can make 50% profit (while getting your own products for 50% off!), earn the use of a career car (MK pays entire payment, entire tax/liscence, and 80% of insurance), and work entirely for yourself without quotas or regions, PLUS self-growth and friendships like you've never seen in a workplace, please let me know! It helps with my training too. I'd love to share with you!
